BREAKING: Mass Evacuation at Times Square Subway, Reports of ‘Explosive Device’

An “explosive device” has gone off at the Times Square subway station beneath the Port Authority in New York City. There was a person wearing a suicide vest on the subway platform, according to reports.

One suspect is in custody. Four people have been injured, according to the FDNY.

The subway lines are currently shut down.

New York City Alerts has posted video of the moment the explosion when off, as well as a number of updates regarding the suspect, which have not been confirmed.

Update;: only the bomber was injured when pipe bomb went off, he was taken to Bellevue Hospital. he Was wearing a suicide vest when apprehended.
