Move to Impeach President Trump

Progressive hate groups will stop at nothing to condemn the President

Article I, Section 9, Clause 8 of the Constitution, states: “No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States; And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatsoever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.” We know President Trump will not be accepting any Title of Nobility or Office from a King, Prince or foreign State.

In the 229 year history of our country Article I, Section 9, Clause 8 of the Constitution also known as the Emolument Clause has never been litigated in the Lower Courts or the Supreme Court therefore there has been no precedent set. On Monday activist layers for C.R.E.W. (Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington) filed suit against President Trump in Federal Court to have the lower Court set precedent stating that President Trump’s real estate holdings are unconstitutional.

That being said who and what is behind this push to have the courts condemn President Trump for violating the Constitution of the United States? At first glance it looks relatively normal, just a group of people who seek to protect our rights under the Constitution. WikiLeaks describes the group as a nonpartisan progressive U.S. government ethics and accountability watchdog organization group founded in 2003.

The suit, backed by several prominent Constitutional scholars, claim that Trump’s business dealings with foreign countries who rent space in his buildings or lend money to his real estate ventures run afoul of the foreign emoluments clause.

Any group describing itself as Progressive cannot and is not nonpartisan. As with all Progressive groups it depends on which side of the aisle you are on whether or not you think the group is nonpartisan. In 2006 Congressional Quarterly reported, “Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington” has taken aim almost exclusively at GOP members of Congress. In 2007, Ms. Magazine quoted longtime Democratic pollster Celinda Lake as saying, “Corruption was a top issue in the [2006] midterm elections, and CREW was critical to the Democrats’ success.” The Washington Post has referred to CREW as a “nonpartisan watchdog group”, while Fox News refers to them as “a liberal-funded watchdog group. In January 2008 Roll Call reported that CREW files most of its complaints against members of Congress, and “all but a handful … have targeted Republicans.”

A look at the funding behind C.R.E.W. shows that at least two of the Anti United States and Nazi sympathizer billionaire George Soros’s groups Open Society Foundation and The Tides Foundation are contributors both liberal progressive foundations. There should be no doubt that less than a week into President Trump’s first four year term that this is just an opening salvo in the Liberal attempt to delegitimize the Presidency of Donald Trump and an attempt to put an end to his Populist agenda.

Will the Progressive Left be successful in this first of many battles to bring down President Trump? The jury is still out on that, President Trump does not have much to fear from the Lower Courts. The Supreme Court will be the final arbitor in this case if or when they decide to hear it. The Progressive Left aided by the dishonest Media will be on a seek and destroy mission for the next four years trying to stop President Trump’s attempts to get Washington working for the people of the United States of America, not some third world country that hates us.

One thing we have seen so far is President Trump looks like he will continue the way he was on the campaign trail and let no slight go unchallenged. President Trump can only be impeached by Congress and then the Senate has to find him guilty.
