Lugenpresse and Spiderwebs

In the beginning was the Word. Verbum Caro Factum Est; and the Word was made flesh. This is a spell, a manifestation of the will, and we have all been spelled by deceitful spelling. Listen carefully. Read carefully. You are being manipulated. You are being spun by the media’s well-paid and well-programmed spinners who have an agenda. Their agenda does not include a bright future but a darkened dystopia wherein all are programmed to serve the state, heads down.

We are all caught in a web and some are in deeper than others. I am talking to those of you still on the edge – you can wriggle free. If you are reading this, you have at least one arm free and you just used that free hand to click on this article. Keep squirming and keep your eyes and ears open. Listen to the words they use to draw you in; scan critically the images they choose to show you and how they are placed. Listen and watch but do not take the bait; see and hear it for what it is.

What are the spinners telling us about the migrant caravan? Think on that term – migrant caravan. They will call them economic migrants, maybe refugees, but what are they really? What is this motley horde making its way toward our border and assaulting any along the way who try to stop them? They are welfare shoppers. They are criminals. They are a hodge-podge of brown hell bent on destroying America. Why else wave their flags and burn ours? Why refuse sanctuary along the way? This is not a caravan. This is not a migration of the downtrodden. This is a rag-tag army of invaders. Oh, but the spinners spin otherwise. Pay attention to the words and images used.

What will the spinners show you? A few pictures of the very few women and children who were unfortunate or foolish enough to have been dragged along. The vast majority of the pillagers are, of course, fighting age males and they are certainly not starving. No, they are marching to the Camp of the Saints.* They are marching straight into America. You will not hear this rhetoric on mainstream news. You will hear instead manipulative, biased language. You will see selective, emotional imagery meant to sway your opinion. They want their audience to “feel” for the horde and cease caring for their own kind, their own country.

This is the programming on our televisions and pocket-sized screens. Programming. Take a moment and think on that word. Our fellow citizens and even our own family members are being programmed. We all have been spun to some extent and the spinners believe so strongly in their web of lies that they will call it what it is without concern. The spell is cast and we walk into its sticky strands every time we watch the evening news. Turn it off. Spells are oh-so easy to break when one sees them for what they are.

Break the spell and enjoy the show. Laugh as they spin tall tales of an amateur terrorist’s bombs without detonators, delivered without postmarks. Laugh as they show you altered pictures of the white male bomber who, just the day before, was a self-styled medium brown Seminole. Scratch your head in wonder as the spinners call white males the greatest threat to our country’s safety knowing full well the statistics – white neighborhoods are the safest. The dark side of town? Bullets flying on the hour. The brown folk kill each other in droves and the spinners ignore the body count to focus instead on one incident at a synagogue. But we understand – the lugenpresse must give all due attention and then some to the tribe signing their checks.

Rachel Summers
Known as the Dropout Philosopher, Rachel Summers walked away from the Ivory Tower, spent a year in a motorcycle mechanics program, and started research for her first novel, CondAmnation, in a local Harley Davidson shop. Her novels are what some have called a journey into antinomian mysteriosophy, where socially sanctioned morality is turned on its head in order to shake out just a few drops of enlightenment.

Summers holds degrees in History, Comparative Religions, English Literature, and Philosophy but ran afoul of academia when her dissertation proposal was rejected as something that might cause a scandal or, worse yet, cause the check-signing alumni to sign fewer checks. Welcomed to stay and write if she accepted a pre-approved project, she chose to leave and vowed to cause a scandal indeed, whether with pen or sword. She is currently writing her fifth novel as well as articles for the Revolutionary Conservative and Europa Sun Magazine; thus far, the sword remains sheathed. You can buy her books at
